It wasn't just about the WMD's people.

Well, the left is spinning with glee today after the report that the WMD team is "done" with the physical search for WMD's and are saying "HA, YOU SEE, BUSH LIED!" What a bunch of hooey. As if that was the sole purpose we went into Iraq or that was the only reason Pres. Bush gave as to why we should go into Iraq.

In his State of the Union Address in Jan of '02. [ This would be just after 9-11, you know where our nation was attacked and 3,000 people were murdered by terrorists and Arabs cheered in the streets at the destruction. But of course Saddam didn't have anything to do with that, yeah right.

Just like he didn't have a connection to the 1993 bombing of the WTC and Ramzi Yousef didn't have a connection to those that were harbored in Iraq.]

President Bush said "Our second goal is to prevent regimes that sponsor terror from threatening America or our friends and allies with weapons of mass destruction."

"sponsor(ing) terror" hummmmm let's see was Saddam sponsoring terror? DUH YEAH! He was paying for suicide bombers to the tune of $25,000 per, to blow themselves up in Israel.

And since we've gone in we find out that the money Saddam was using came DIRECTLY from the oil-for-food monies!

In a radio address on September 14, 2002, Pres. Bush made the points Saddam; has broken every pledge he made to the United Nations and the world since his invasion of Kuwait was rolled back in 1991, supports terrorist groups and to oppress its civilian population, refuses to account for missing Gulf War personnel, will not end illicit trade outside the U.N.'s oil-for-food program.

But this quote is choice. " The issue is straightforward: We must choose between a world of fear, or a world of progress. We must stand up for our security and for the demands of human dignity. By heritage and choice, the United States will make that stand. The world community must do so, as well."

I challenge anyone of you to read through these pages and tell me going into Iraq was wrong!

  • Saddam Hussein's Defiance of United Nations Resolutions

  • Saddam Hussein's Development of Weapons of Mass Destruction

  • Saddam Hussein's Repression of the Iraqi People

  • Saddam Hussein's Support for International Terrorism

  • Saddam Hussein's Refusal to Account for Gulf War Prisoners

  • Saddam Hussein's Refusal to Return Stolen Property

  • Saddam Hussein's Efforts to Circumvent Economic Sanctions

  • I think I'm done for now.

Oh and I heard this on Fox news tonight, "it's possible that WMD's Made their way into Syria before the war began."

I wouldn't be surprised of we get to see some satellite pics of convoys moved out of Iraq just before the war.
